The AWG wins "Meeting of the Year"!

The AWG has taken out the 2012 "Meeting of the Year" at the Victorian Runners & Trainers awards function in Melbourne last Saturday.  The award has sealed the best possible start for the AWG with event organiser Tom Burbidge winning the "Administrator of the Year" award.

With the wheels already in motion for the 2013 event, the best is surely yet to come!  Stay tuned...

Stings like a Bee!

Joel Bee took out 2012 The Joss Albury Wodonga Gift on Sunday with a sensational performance over the 120m race.  Bee collected $6,000 for his win in what was his first victory on the professional running circuit.  Clocking a time of 12.41 seconds, Bee finished ahead of David Tinney (12.53) and Glenn Ross (12.61).
